Retreat Schedule
8:45 am
Welcome & Check-in
10:30-10:45 am | Love & Kindness Breath
In this heart-centered breathwork class, children are invited on a calming journey that blends storytelling, mindful breathing, and creative play. We begin with a gentle story that helps kids understand how their breath can help them feel safe, calm, and connected.
Using a meditation pillow for comfort, children will practice breathing from the heart—placing their hands gently on their chest as they slow their breath and tune into feelings of love and kindness. With colorful Wikki Stix, kids will create heart shapes as a visual and tactile guide for their breathing, allowing them to see and feel each breath as it flows in and out. This playful yet grounding experience supports emotional awareness, self-soothing, and compassion—giving children simple tools they can carry with them long after the retreat ends.
Perfect for: Building calm, confidence, empathy, and emotional regulation in a joyful, age-appropriate way
10:45-11:15 am | Calming Bath Bomb Craft
In this hands-on craft session, children will create their own all-natural, kid-safe bath bombs using calming scents like lavender or rose. As they mix and mold, kids will learn how gentle smells can help their bodies and minds feel relaxed and peaceful. This fun, sensory activity encourages creativity while introducing simple tools for self-care and calm.
Perfect for: Kids who love hands-on creativity, sensory play, and learning simple self-care tools they can use at home
11:15am - 11:45 am | Movement & Affirmations
In this uplifting movement session, children explore gentle, heart-opening yoga poses and simple partner poses while practicing positive affirmations. Each movement is paired with words of kindness, confidence, and self-love, helping kids connect how their bodies feel with how their words matter. This playful experience builds strength, trust, and emotional confidence in a supportive, joyful way.
Perfect for: Boosting confidence, body awareness, teamwork, and positive self-talk through playful movement.
11:45am- 12:00 pm | Relaxation & Peaceful Pause
We end our wellness journey with a heartwarming guided meditation focused on relaxation and gratitude. Children rest comfortably with heated eye masks and breathing buddies—soft, stuffed trees held gently to the chest to help guide slow, steady breathing. As they breathe in and out with their breathing buddy rising and falling, children feel supported, soothed, and safe. This peaceful closing helps kids unwind, regulate their breath, and leave the class feeling calm, comforted, and grounded.
Perfect for: Children who need support winding down, feeling safe, regulating their breath, and practicing gratitude in a cozy, comforting way.
